Isn’t it so unfair how some people are just born with magically clear skin while others have to struggle with those pesky pimples? Growing up, it was a rare occurrence for a pimple to barge in on my face. However, when I reached my early 20’s, my face got so many pimples that I wanted to cry. And for years, I never knew what it was. I never knew why my face broke out so suddenly. Why weren’t my skincare products working? What was I doing wrong? After A LOT of trial and error, I finally figured out what works for me (and hopefully, you too!) So, keep reading to learn all about my clear and healthy skin tips.
For that morning glow, keep your jade roller in the fridge overnight and run it through your face in the morning.
Rub a toothbrush over your lips for a nice exfoliating session. For an even softer feel, apply olive oil and then scrub. After a couple of minutes, they will look super plump and lipstick goes on way smoother reducing the appearance of wrinkled lips.
Wash your face with cold water. Never hot. I’m not talking ice cold but just enough to wake up your skin. This allows your pores to close up and helps with wrinkles, too!
Change your pillowcases often. Like 3 times a week often. If you don’t feel like changing them that often, just put three to four pillowcases on your pillow and take one off every other day.
5 words. AZTEC SECRET INDIAN HEALING CLAY. If you want seriously clear skin, invest in this. I GUARANTEE you will see a difference within three days (maybe less). I spent so much money on pointless products that made my skin worse when the holy grail was LITERALLY right in front of me. Trust me, you won’t regret this purchase. Get this big jar on Amazon for $10.
Drink your water. This is so cliche but it’s a cliche for a reason. I mean it, ditch the sodas and sweet drinks and anything but water. All that sugar was going right to my face which was not a pretty sight to see. So please drink your H20. At least 8 glasses a day. If it gets annoying having to get up and get a glass of water every hour, invest in a big 32-ounce water bottle in which you will only have to refill it once more throughout the day. Check this one out from Amazon.
Avoid sugary sweets! As much as I love to eat chocolate and cake, my skin doesn’t. I swear, one day my skin is clear as day. I eat two chocolate bars and it goes to garbage. (Sometimes I eat them anyway because I don’t care)
Invest in a hyaluronic acid + Vitamin C Serum. I use this one by Pearlessence. It’s a brightening facial serum that prevents aging while keeping my skin nice and hydrated. Vitamin C lightens dark eye bags and improves the production of collagen which helps reduce wrinkles. The hyaluronic acid plumps the skin and leaves the skin super radiant which is exactly what I need for those mornings when I feel like I didn’t catch enough zzz’s. PS, it is super affordable.
Last but not least, exfoliate your face no more than 2 times a week. If you exfoliate too often, your skin will dry out resulting in more pimples and blotchy patches. I use this chemical peel by the Ordinary and it is a game-changer! I’ll admit it does sting a little bit but the results are worth it. The reviews promised to clear out pores and even out the skin texture and they pulled through. My skin has never felt smoother and just… cleaner.
So there you have it. 9 clear and healthy skin tips that you’ll regret not knowing sooner! These are for sure to change your life. Let me know if they work for you and if you guys have any other ideas? My ears are always open! Stay cute lovelies 🙂 xo

Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such great info being shared freely out there.
